A new album from John Mackay that features straight-ahead jazz piano trio music.
Many individuals suggested to me that they would love to have a recording of some of the jazz pieces I have played for Avatar Adi Da at concerts over the past couple of years. So here it is! All of the pieces on the CD have been played for Avatar Adi Da at one time or another. Six of them are original compositions, some of them personally named by Avatar Adi Da, and four of the pieces are jazz standards, with a different twist. When I made this recording, I did it with the intention of making it accessible for radio airplay, but also, and most of all, to express my love and gratitude to my Beloved Sat-Guru, Adi Da Samraj.
